Bill
Cossey is a former senior South Australian public servant, having performed
executive management roles in a range of State organisations including the
Attorney General's Dept, the State Courts Administration Authority, the Department
of Industry and Trade, and the Adelaide Festival Centre. Bill was involved
in the early stages of the creation of Regional Development Boards across
South Australia. He is a past president of the Institute of Public Administration
(SA Division). Bill remains a director of several organisations, including
Tennis SA and the Savings and Loans Credit Union. He is a member of the council
of UniSA. Bill has a science degree from the University of Adelaide.

Juliet
Brown
was,
until recently, Chief Executive of Thomson Playford, one of South Australia's
largest commercial law firms. Prior to joining Thomson Playford, Juliet practised
as a solicitor in commercial and insurance litigation for both public and
private sector clients for over 25 years including as a consultant with commercial
law firm O'Loughlins and as a partner of Finlaysons, a large commercial Adelaide
law firm. Juliet's ongoing Board commitments include the Royal Automobile
Association of SA Inc, the Local Government Superannuation Board, the Central
Northern Adelaide Health Service Inc and the Motor Accident Commission (South
Australia) and the Cancer Council of South Australia.
Wayne
Jackson is
the former Chief Executive Officer and Commissioner of the Australian Football
League. Prior to this high profile position, Wayne held senior management
roles with leading Australian companies including South Australian Brewing
Company Pty Ltd, BRL Hardy Limited and Thomas Hardy & Sons Pty Ltd. Wayne
is currently a member of the SA Government's Economic Development Board, an
elected Director of Meat and Livestock Australia and Consultant, Management
and Strategy with Minter Ellison Lawyers. Wayne has an economics degree from
the University of Adelaide and is a Fellow of the Australian Society of Practising
Accountants.
These
three prominent South Australians bring a range of skills and experience to
the task and, while not currently or previously directly involved in local
government in the State, they understand the roles and functions of local
government and its interaction with the other spheres of government, the community,
and business sector.
Access

engaged to assist the FSRB to undertake the Inquiry, thereby providing the FSRB
with a level of independent and authoritative support commensurate with its task.
