Summary Registrations are now open for the State Coastal Conference, which will have a focus on the importance of local government collaboration in managing and protecting our coastal areas.

The two day Conference will be held on 9 and 10 November 2017 at the Cruising Yacht Club of South Australia, North Haven.

The Conference is an event for all people interested in coastal, estuarine and marine environments.

The Conference will bring together engineers, planners, scientists, policy makers, NGOs, community groups and academics to discuss challenges, actions and solutions relate to SA’s diverse coastal environments.

The Thursday afternoon session will focus on defining a future approach for councils in tackling coastal adaptation issues, and will include a variety of speakers as well as a panel discussion.

Day or full registration is available. Early-bird registrations close 18 September 2017, and standard registrations close 1 November 2017.
