The EPA’s most recent delegations instrument delegating powers and functions from the EPA to employees of councils is dated 24 May 2018 (Delegations instrument(1299 kb)). The EPA is seeking to update this instrument to ensure that the instrument validly delegates all relevant powers and functions to the correct officer within councils.
An update to the instrument may be required if:
- Position titles within councils have changed since the date of the current instrument;
- New positions need to be added; or
- New delegations regarding the issuing of Environment Protection Orders (this power is only delegated to councils on request) are sought.
The EPA is asking that all requests for updates be provided to Monica Bosco, Coordinator Local Government Services, Environment Protection Authority, via email at email@example.com. Any queries should also be directed to Monica on ph: 8204 2053.
All requests for updates should be received by the EPA no later than 19 July 2019.
