It’s that time of year once again when the Adelaide Town Hall opens its doors to the public for the Town Hall Open Day.
This year the event is being held on Sunday 13 October – 11.00am – 4.00pm.
Once again, the Open Day provides an opportunity for our visitors to learn about the history of Adelaide and take a rare behind-the-scenes peek at areas generally off limits to the general public. The Lord Mayor’s office, Council Chambers, and Queen Adelaide Room are among some of the rooms that will have their doors open for this special one day event.
It’s a perfect opportunity to come along and learn important facts about the history of Adelaide in a fun, engaging environment.
The day will be as much for young, inquisitive minds as seasoned history and architecture buffs, with fun activities, interactive displays, live music and fascinating insights from our informative tour guides.
Government House will also be open once again so it’s a great opportunity to make it a full day out. For more information, click on the links and "Town Hall Open Day" poster below.
