This Circular provides information on a 'Recycle Right' Training Tour being offered by the LGA and Zero Waste SA. Council staff and Council Members are encouraged to register for this training. Registration details are contained in this Circular.
The LGA in partnership with Zero Waste SA has convened tours of a number of recycling and waste management facilities across Adelaide. Training tours include visits to a landfill transfer station, composting facilities and recycling stations for paper and cardboard, plastics, glass, aluminium cans, e-waste and soft plastics. The LGA and Zero Waste SA encourage all staff and Council Members to attend the 'Recycle Right' tour. Council staff and Council Members should not miss this unique opportunity to clarify questions about recycling and waste management directly with the experts and then use the knowledge to assist with public inquiries.
This FREE one-day course will provide participants with a better understanding of the recycling and waste systems currently in place in South Australia and the tour will include visits to a number of recycling and waste management sites.
