2009 LGA Conference and General Meeting

The LGA held its 2009 Conference Nation Building: the Local Foundations at the Adelaide Convention Centre on Thursday 23 and Friday 24 April. A dinner was also held on the Thursday evening.

The Conference Nation Building: the Local Foundations, held in alternate years to the LGA Showcase, focussed on federal relationships and featured a number of high profile keynote speakers. The Conference was held in conjunction with the LGA's General Meeting on Friday 24 April, 10.00am - 12.30pm. Conference Registrations

A Summary of Registration Costs
As always the LGA has done its best to deliver for you a relevant national quality Conference Program at bargain prices. The best value is our discount full registration for both days fee, which is a modest $25 above the 2007 Conference two day registration fee - less than CPI for one year. Registration Fees include Conference Sessions, a Conference Satchel, morning and afternoon teas, and lunches.

LGA Members (Council Members and Staff)
Full registration for both days (excludes dinner and breakfast) - $620
Day 1 only - $555
Conference Dinner - $120
Breakfast - $30
Day 2 only - $225

Non LGA Members
Full registration for both days (excludes dinner and breakfast) - $675

Cancellation Policy
If a person registered to attend this event is unable to do so, Councils are encouraged to notify the LGA and send a substitute. All cancellations must be received in writing / email at least 5 days prior to the conduct of the event, otherwise payment will be retained to cover costs which the LGA incurs following the cancellation date.
