2011 LGA Annual General Meeting and Associated Sessions
The 2011 LGA Annual General Meeting and Associated Sessions were held on Thursday 27 and Friday 28 October at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
The LGA held its 2011 Annual General Meeting and Associated Sessions on Thursday 27 and Friday 28 October at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
The LGA issued seven media releases during the AGM & Associated Sessions:
- Getting excited about data;
- Councils communicate online;
- Local Government talks the talk;
- New deal for Statewide library access;
- Councils at the cutting edge of safety;
- Thanks to the Commonwealth from the LGA; and
- Local Government shows Excellence.

The two day event was well attended by Council Members and officers and included sessions around the four theme areas of Local Excellence:
- Governance;
- Financial Reform;
- Service Efficiency & Effectiveness; and
- Community Engagement.
