We deliver high quality professional development, award and acknowledge achievements of excellence and provide opportunities to share information and knowledge and to gain collegiate support.
Many of our professional development activities are developed and initiated in close collaboration with representatives of particular disciplines within local government.
In addition to our role in developing and supporting professionals working in local government we also represent their views to other levels of government on issues of legislation and policy and program development. We believe our commitment to people working in local government translates into a broader commitment to the capacity and wellbeing of the local government sector.
