If you cannot confirm your electoral enrolment online, you may still be enrolled. If you have recently completed an enrolment form, please allow a week for the AEC to receive your form, process it and update the electoral roll.

You can also check your enrolment details by contacting the council you enrolled with, or Electoral Commission SA (ECSA) on 1300 655 232.

Update your enrolment

When you move house or have changed your name, you must update your name and mailing address on the electoral roll. This is necessary to ensure you will receive your ballot pack in the mail. You can also update or correct other personal details such as mobile number or email.

You can update your details on the electoral roll via any of the below methods.

  1. Online on the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) website
  2. Print a PDF enrolment form (you can complete the form online then print, scan and send your form to the AEC)
  3. Pick up an enrolment form at any AEC office or Electoral Commission SA
  4. Call the Electoral Commission of SA on 1300 655 232 to request an enrolment form mailed.

You cannot enrol or update your details over the phone or by post.

If you would like to check your enrolment, contact the council you enrolled with, or Electoral Commission SA (ECSA) on 1300 655 232.
