Traffic Management Industry Briefing 20 January 2020

Councils need to be aware of the significant update to the Australian Standard for Traffic Control and the new Codes of Practice that will commence early 2020.

LGA Procurement is keen for councils to understand and comply with the new requirements and has ensured that all currently contracted suppliers under LGA Procurement panel arrangements are fully compliant. We are also aware that many councils undertake traffic control duties under their own direction from time to time and encourage councils to consider attending the industry update to be hosted by the Civil Contractors Federation (CCF) and the Traffic Management Association Australia (SA) on 20 January 2020.

We encourage you to register all key staff involved with traffic management within your organisation for this valuable session.

Further details regarding the session can be found in this flyer: TMA Industry Briefing January 2020(1309 kb)

For further information please contact Melissa Ekberg at the Civil Contractors Federation.
