Summary The LGA will be holding an information session on the PDI Act delegations package which will be provide to councils in January 2020

are The Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act and associated Regulations and the Planning and Design Code due to go live in early April for phase 2 councils and 1 July for phase 3 councils.

To support councils and relevant authorities in determing the necessary delegations, the LGA is in the process of preparing a delegations package to asssit the relevant authorities (Councils, Assessment Managers and Council Assessment Panels).

The development of these delegations is being funded through the Local Government Research and Development Fund.

The delegations package will be provided to councils in mid January and an information session will be held on 13 February 2020 (time to be confirmed).  Council CEOs, Governance Officers, Asssessment Managers and Chairs of Council Assessment Panels are encouraged to attend.

The information session will be live streamed.
