Round two is now open for the Communities Combating Pest and Weed Impacts During Drought Program – Biosecurity Management of Pests and Weeds.

This grant funding opportunity closes 5 February 2020.

The program will deliver $10 million in funding nationwide to eligible local councils affected by drought, for projects that manage priority pest animals and/or weeds.

The objectives of the program are to assist communities manage the negative impacts of pest animals and weeds during drought, stimulate economic activity and facilitate local employment in the areas where projects take place.

The South Australian councils that are listed as eligible to apply for this funding are:
