Summary The Minister for Education is calling for expressions of interest in membership of the Child Development Council (CDC). This circular provides further information on how Councils can nominate by 5pm - 22 January 2020.

The Minister for Education is now calling for expressions of interest in Council membership.

The CDC is set up under Part 6, Children and Young People (Oversight and Advocacy Bodies) Act 2016 to maintain an Outcomes Framework for Children and Young People (birth to 18 years) and to report to government on its effectiveness in improving the outcomes of young South Australians in five key dimensions (health, safety, wellbeing, education and citizenship). The outcomes framework is applicable to state and local government.
