SA Regional Organisation of Councils
SA Regional Organisation of Councils (SAROC) is formally established through the LGA Constitution and exists to provide a forum for Regional LGAs to develop decisions on public policy matters of importance to country Councils.
The SAROC Committee normally meets on the third Wednesday of every second month - the night before the LGA Board meeting. Meetings normally commence at 6.00pm and conclude after a light dinner at approximately 8pm. Meetings are held at Local Government House, 148 Frome Street, Adelaide, unless otherwise advised. The SAROC Committee normally holds two meetings per year at regional Councils (in conjunction with LGA Board meetings). The next SAROC Committee meeting is listed below.
