The LGA of SA holds three major events each year for members, the Council Best Practice Showcase (April), Roads and Works Conference (August) and the LGA Conference (October/November). Each of these events are held over at least two days and receive attendances of over 250 Local Government delegates. They all provide important informal networking opportunities.
The LGA holds three major events a year.
- The Council Best Practice Showcase and LGA OGM is held in Adelaide around April/May each year and is attended by CEOs, Elected Members and some senior council staff.
- The LGA Roads and Works Conference is held in a regional location in August each year and is attended by Council staff, engineers, works managers, outdoor works, elected members and some CEOs.
- The LGA Conference and AGM is held in Adelaide around October/November each year and is attended by CEOs, Elected Members and some senior council staff.
