The Workers Compensation Scheme is licensed to operate by Return to Work SA (RTWSA). To maintain this license, the scheme is subject to regular audits of:

Savings for local government
The scheme has saved the sector $321 million since inception (when compared to being in the RTWSA scheme).
Claims are down 60% since 2014, despite employee numbers increasing during this period. Claim costs have stabilised in recent years, with the average claim being some 60% less than those of RTWSA.
