LGA meetings & committees

The structure and operation of the LGA is set out in its Constitution, under which the following boards and committees must meet regularly with the responsibility of guiding various aspects of the organisations activities in line with policy and other decisions taken at Ordinary and Annual General Meetings.

OGM / AGM

The general meetings held every 6 months, are where the LGA's strategic decision making and policy setting occurs.
LGA Board of Directors

The LGA Board of Directors meet regularly to manage the activities of the LGA.
Greater Adelaide Regional Organisation of Councils (GAROC)

The GAROC Committee represent the greater Adelaide councils.
South Australian Regional Organisation of Councils (SAROC)

The SAROC Committee represents the regional councils.
LGA Audit & Risk Committee

The Audit and Risk Committee provides advice to the LGA on governance processes and financial risk management.
CEO Advisory Group

The CEO Advisory Group provides advice to the Board of Directors on policy and services to LGA members.
LG Research & Development Scheme Advisory Committee

Local Government Research and Development Scheme Advisory Committee's role is to oversee the scheme.
Local Government Transport Advisory Panel (LGTAP)

The Local Government Transport Advisory Panel (LGTAP) oversees the Special Local Roads Program.
