Rating equity councils ability for growth
This project has been completed with reports provided to the Legatus Group and the SA Regional Organisation of Councils.
The project resulted in 5 February 2020 SAROC meeting agreeing that on acceptance of the final report by the Legatus group, the SAROC Chairperson is to write to the Minister for Energy and Mining, outlining the findings from the report and to seek a commitment from the State Government to immediately commence working with local government on amendments to rating policy with regards to electricity generators.
The Legatus Feb 2020 meeting accepted the final report and this has been posted on the Legatus Group website and a letter has been sent to the Minister and meetings have also been held with Ministers and MPs on this matter.
