Electricity management support for councils
The aim of this project was to build capacity within local government to engage with the energy market and take control of their costs.
The project has been delivered through a workshop for councils, as well as through some videos and factsheets that are available through the LGA Procurement webpage, Aggregated Electricity Resources.
Outcomes
This project supported councils to understand the basics of the electricity market and what their options are for the future.
The resources have been divided into the following categories:
- SA electricity
- reading energy bills
- DER asset management
- buying electricity.
The mudmap below has been created to support councils in connecting to the factsheets and videos.
