LGA Roads and Works Conference
The LGA Roads and Works Conference is a long standing annual event held in late August. The Conference is held in regional locations across South Australia.
This highly successful and well attended event is the premier ‘all things Roads’ that provides important informal networking opportunities for Local Government delegates.

The 2019 LGA Roads and Works Conference will be held in Renmark from 14-16 August. The event will kick off with a welcome reception on the evening of 14 August (venue tbc) and the conference will be held on 15 & 16 August at the Chaffey Theatre with a conference dinner on 15 August (venue tbc).
The LGA Roads and Works Conference Committee is calling for expressions of interest for presentations and/or topics for the 2019 Conference.
Please submit your EOI by Thursday 31 January by clicking on the button below. The EOI will be reviewed at the next committee meeting in February.
A draft program will be available in May 2019.

A training opportunity not to be missed!
The LGA’s Education and Training Service is taking expressions of interest for attendance at an Essential Supervisors Program for Leading hands, Co-ordinators, Supervisors and Team leaders of council outside work teams.
Date: Wednesday 14 August 2019 (day before the LGA Roads and Works Conference)
Place: Renmark (venue tbc)
Cost: $330pp (discounts apply for multiple attendees from one council)
The program will provide essential underpinning knowledge and build leadership skills required to successfully supervise, coach and grow cohesive, effective work teams.
