Jim Hullick Award

The Jim Hullick Award celebrates partnerships between local government and state and federal government.

The award recognises public sector workers from state and federal government who have gone above and beyond to collaborate on projects with local councils. These projects have delivered great outcomes on important issues for people across South Australia.

The award is named after former LGA Chief Executive Officer Jim Hullick in honour of his work building partnerships across levels of governments.

“By councils, state and federal government working together, projects like [the Remarkable Southern Flinders Project] are having a positive impact on communities and bringing with them tremendous environmental benefits.”

– 2022 Winner Craig Nixon
