Community Information Session – Council Amalgamation Plebiscite
The Local Government Association of SA is hosting two in-person community information sessions on Wednesday 19 October for residents of the District Council of Grant and City of Mount Gambier.
This is an opportunity to learn about the upcoming plebiscite to investigate an amalgamation of the two councils to form a single council.
You will hear:
- What you will receive in your voting pack and how to have your say
- What will occur if the vote to investigate the amalgamation of the councils is supported and next steps.
There will also be an opportunity to ask questions.
Port MacDonnell Session

When: Wednesday 19 October
Where: City Hall – Riddoch Arts & Cultural Centre, Watson Terrace (entry via Cave Garden)
Time: 7:00 pm
