Give your feedback on the National Electric Vehicle Strategy
This feedback will help shape a national strategy to ensure Australians can access the best emerging transport technologies and help meet emission reduction targets.
Councils have a role as road authorities, infrastructure providers, fleet managers and representatives of local communities to encourage the use of zero or low emission vehicles and the voice of local government will be important in shaping the national strategy.
The national strategy will also impact legislation that affects South Australian councils including the luxury car tax on electric vehicles.
Submit your feedback to the Federal Government now
Your feedback must be submitted by Monday 31 October.
We also request that you provide input to inform the LGA submission. Please email any relevant information to Katherine Russell, Manager Policy Projects, by Friday 21 October. Please also send through a copy of any submission you make online.
