Register now for the Delegations Information Session

You are invited to an online Delegations Information Session, as part of the Delegations Framework service provided by the LGA.

Section 44(6a) of the Local Government Act 1999 requires councils to review delegations in place within 12 months after the conclusion of a periodic election.

With this in mind, and in response to a number of recent queries, this session will cover delegation information including:

• what they are
• how they work
• who is responsible
• common questions and issues.

This session will be facilitated by Felice D’Agostino from Norman Waterhouse.

You will also be given information on the training options available from Norman Waterhouse Lawyers in partnership with LGA Training on a fee for service basis.

This session is for Governance Officers as well as those in councils involved with making decisions relating to delegations.
