Submit your information for the 2024 National State of the Assets project
The Australian Local Government Association is partnering with the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia for the 2024 National State of the Assets project.
This project assesses the performance and management of local government infrastructure and provides evidence to deliver more value and address deficits and risks.
South Australian councils are encouraged to provide data on local roads, buildings, parks, bridges, airports, and wastewater, footpaths, cycleways and stormwater facilities.
This information has a direct impact on how the LGA and ALGA advocate for important funding like Financial Assistance Grants and the Local Road and Community Infrastructure program.

The survey takes approximately one hour to complete. It uses information from annual reports, financial statements and asset management plans and systems up until 30 June 2023.
The final National State of the Assets report is expected to be released in 2024.
