This year's theme is Vision 2050 – Future of Local Government

OGM keynote for this year's event will be Simon Kuestenmacher, Director and Co-founder of The Demographics Group. Simon has deep insights on demographic trends, consumer insights and cultural change in Australia.

Throughout the day, we’ll explore how our towns and cities changed since the pandemic and where do we expect them to go.

As more people choose to work from home, we are seeing a shift in our urban and regional landscape. This can mean the growth of new businesses and technologies, changes in how we work, where we live, and shifts in what people like to buy.

But with less commuters, these changes will also transform local economies and the way our communities look.

Find out how these trends will impact local government —and the steps you need to take to adapt.
