Webinar on strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards
The new Aged Care Quality Standards are expected to be introduced with the commencement of the Aged Care Act and regulatory model, which may be implemented as early as July this year.
To understand the strengthened aged care quality standards, South Australian councils are invited to attend an information session on 18 April.
The session is being will cover the responsibilities of councils in meeting the standards.
The Municipal Association of Victoria, Local Government Association of South Australia and Local Government NSW are jointly hosting the online session with representatives from the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission.

This free workshop is being held Thursday 18 April, 1:30 pm-2:30 pm (AEDT).
Councils providing aged care services, particularly those only providing Commonwealth Home Support Program services, are encouraged to take part.
