Have your say on the next phase of environmental reforms

The proposed reforms focus on strengthening environmental protection whilst improving the efficiency and transparency of environmental assessments and approvals.
The consultation seeks feedback on reforms relating to:
- streamlining single project approvals
- enabling landscape approvals
- setting operating rules for the Restoration Contributions Holder
- improving operational approaches across all approval pathways and increasing transparency.
How to provide feedback
LGA will consider council feedback as part of its sector response to the Australian Local Government Association (ALGA).
