Get human resource (HR) documents, manage your correspondence, and save time and money.

The HR library is an online library offering HR practitioners of local government access to a comprehensive library of relevant policies, procedures, agreements, and other supporting documents.

All documents are flexible and can be adapted to meet your council's individual needs.

The HR library is developed in partnership with our legal partner, Norman Waterhouse Lawyers.

What’s included?

The HR library contains 70 document templates. These documents are adaptable across individual council needs.

Who is this for?

HR practitioners in local government. All documents have been developed in consultation with a pilot group of local government HR practitioners to ensure relevance, value, and requirement.

The HR library is available through two plans. Choose a plan that suits your organisation best.

Suitable for HR professionals with limited access to their organisation resources.

inc. GST per year for a minimum of 2 years

Suitable for HR professionals with unlimited access to organisation resources.

  5. Customised telephone advice for your council

You can opt to add-on procedures to any plan.

Adding on procedures to your plan will allow you to create, review or update up to 5 procedures. These can be selected by your council according to your priorities or preference.

You can opt to add-on training support to any plan.

Adding on training support to your plan will provide you 3 x 1 hour training or information sessions on any of the policies or procedures. These can be selected by you on behalf of your council.

Yes, you can change your plan if you have changed your mind on the plan you initially purchased. Please contact lgasa@lga.sa.gov.au to change your plan.

You can only cancel a subscription plan. Your plan will be cancelled after your billing period. Please contact lgasa@lga.sa.gov.au to change your plan.

Your access to the library will be restricted at the end of your two-year subscription period.

No. Due to the nature of digital products, refunds are not available for the once-off and subscription plans.

No, your subscription entitles you to a single login only. However, the documents within the library can be used by others within your organisation. You can learn more about this by contacting Sathish Dasan of Norman Waterhouse at 08 8210 1253 or sdasan@normans.com.au.

You can share the documents in the library with others working within the same organisation. However, you are not allowed to share your login with others.

Your login will expire when you move to work in a different council and you will no longer have access to the HR Library. Your council (new employer) will need to purchase a plan that is suited to their needs.
