Procurement Support Services
SA councils are turning a spotlight on their procurement practices in order to better understand how to increase value, reduce risk and achieve fit-for-purpose solutions.
LGA Procurement’s experienced practitioners can provide assistance and support to councils – from telephone advice, through to a full procurement service.
Services can include:
- Procurement planning - acquisition, evaluation and probity planning, market documentation.
- Tendering and evaluation - management of tender processes, evaluation and preparation of reports for council.
- Contracting - contract award, contract documents.
Services can be delivered on a short term or ongoing basis – to provide specialist procurement support, backfill planned absences, supplement existing resources, or help deliver urgent projects requiring significant procurement support.
LGA Procurement can also advise councils on the development of strategic procurement plans and practises, including risk identification and mitigation associated with current practices.
