This contract acknowledges that telecommunications has moved from provision of simple mobile phone related voice and data services to whole of business connectivity solutions for council employees and elected members regardless of where they work and/or travel.
It provides councils with significant flexibility, from the supply of simple mobile and voice and data to a full range of services including cloud, virtual machine capability, internet service provision, VOIP and more. A range of specialist consulting services can also be provided by the contractor.
Optus offers a premium managed service desk which actions faults, outages, provisioning, billing, cost centre management and moves, plus adds and changes.
