The LGA has developed a solution that provides a range of location based information to the community.

Features
Spotlight
Deliver key messages to the citizen using the Home screen of the App. Spotlights can link to web pages on the council website to further inform the citizen of upcoming events etc.
Near me
Easily discover nearby council facilities such as parks, playgrounds and libraries. The inbuilt mapping application on the device can then guide the citizen to their nearest:
- Boat Ramp
- Camping ground
- Caravan Park
- Church
- Community Centre
- Council Office
- Council venue
- Event
- Hospital / Medical Centre
- Information Centre
- Library
- Monument
- Museum
- National Park
- Park, Garden or Oval
- Post Box
- Shopping precinct
- Sporting Facility
- Swimming Pool
- Toilet
- Tourist Attraction
- Town Hall
- Walking Trail
- Waste Transfer Station
Events
Showcase council events that are coming up and are relative to the user’s location.
Kerbside collection services
A handy reference for which bin to put out and when. This feature also provides ‘push notifications’ to the user and the ability to link waste reduction messages to weekly reminders.
Report it
Give your citizens the ability to report issues which require council attention such as pavement failures etc.
Push notifications
Let your ratepayers receive reminders related to bin set-out, events and payment due notices.
How it Works
Parks, Events and Elected Member information comes from your Squiz console and displays on the App saving you from double handing data. Non-Squiz users are provided with a Squiz console for this purpose.
Solid in the Cloud
Data from every Council is stored in the LGA Squiz platform and leverages Cloud services such as ArcGIS on-line and Parse.
